Do What You Love, Not What You Loathe

From 1997 to 2012, I designed and delivered a set of programmes all across Britain for people that had always wanted to start a business but never had the confidence to do so.

I met and worked with some amazing people. About 1300 in all! Some grew big and won awards some stayed small but profitable.

Looking back on that experience I realised there was one common theme. Everyone that took part wanted to start their business because they wanted a better life. In truth they wanted better mental health for themselves and their families.

In 2017, I started catching up with my Enterprise Islanders and noticed that whilst there is so much information and support out there now - online and offline - it was all about the business, nothing for the people running them.

So I thought I’d conjure up some enterprise soul food.

I’ve pulled together some funny stories, some inspiring stories and some content to help all enterprising people “find the energy to find the energy“.
